What Are You Waiting For?
There’s always someone to tell you to ‘do it now’. Some people seem to have a bias for action; they can seem uncomfortable when others don't have this same bias. For them, acting is almost always better than waiting. But perhaps you're different; perhaps you have a bias towards waiting. Whilst this can be limiting too, it can be useful to work out what to do in each circumstance. Perhaps you know there’s something worth waiting for. If that's true, maybe you need to work out what are you waiting for and why.

There's good reasons to wait
- For more emotional strength
- For your critics to die down
- Until you don't feel so angry
- For an empty house
- Until the next pay-cheque
- For the money that’s coming
- For a change of heart
- To build yourself up
- Until others can do it too
- For more support
- For a change in the weather
- To be less tired
- For more certainty
- For the storm clouds to pass
- When your head stops pounding
- Until Christmas
- For more information
- For inspiration
- Until family can share it
- For others to catch up
- To catch your breath
- To take them by surprise
- For a safer time
- Until I'm asked nicely
- For the sun to come out
- Until there’s less anger
- For other’s to ‘get’ it
There's always someone who eggs you on and tells you to do it now. However, maybe you know better than they do. Sometimes it’s okay to take the pressure off and just wait until the time is right for you.
You know what you're waiting for.
Tell me what you think in the comments.
